A fun time in Atlanta

Recently we traveled to Atlanta, GA to attend our Whippet Southern Specialty Show. Not only did Dylan and Henry get a chance to show, but we had some wonderful reunions.

We got to see Bailey for the first time in several months! It was really good to see her and Becky. Oh how much she is like her brother and sisters! Here is a pic of Bailey with Mama Moe!

Then, Bailey left to go with a new sister, Ella. This is a picture of them at home

On top of our reunion with Bailey, I was able to have visit with Amos and his new family for the first time since he found his forever home! How wonderful to see this special boy again. He looked so good and was clearly very happy with his new family. I hear that he will be doing a bit of lure coursing later this fall.

We are expecting puppies at Cali Whippets!

is currently in whelp to the Handsome

Tobias (DC Hound Hill Tobias FCh)!

Pedigree

She was confirmed to be pregnant yesterday via ultrasound.

We are expecting a household full of beautiful "Red Heads" early this December!!

Our trip up North

This past weekend we traveled to Otis, MA to breed Spirit. We had an amazing time! Hound Hill and the surrounding area is SO beautiful! I think we could have stayed there if not for the knowledge that winter was coming! We would like to thank Cora, Susan and Jim for their wonderful hospitality! We truly enjoyed our time their. How nice to meet new friends, everyone at Hound Hill was so nice. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we have a good reason to visit again real soon!

Of course Mike took some amazing photos while we were there, here are a few of my favorites of me and the girls. More to come of the surrounding area once available.

We had a wonderful weekend in Beautiful Williamsburg, VA! SHOT AKC Lure Coursing Trial.

Blondie: Her first trial - QC followed by a 5 pt. Major win on Saturday and a 3rd place on Sunday!

Blondie earns a 5 point MAJOR

What an exciting weekend !!

BLONDIE - Cali's Blonde Ambition

Attended her first AKC lure coursing trial this past weekend. She earned her QC title Saturday morning. She then went on to enter the trial and defeated 19 dogs going FIRST place in the OPEN stake! We decided not to run her for Best of Breed, but couldn't be prouder of this little girl! Sunday was almost as successful, a tumble in the first run put her a point down from the high score, but didn't affect her attitude. She came back with a great second run and ended up in a 2/3 tie. We forfitted that runoff, wanting to make sure she ended her first trial on a GOOD note.

She ended up with 7 points and a Major her first weekend out!!!! Super congrats to Miss Blondie! We can't wait to see what your future holds for you!
