Spirit/Tobias Puppies - Day 10

 Momma Spirit and puppies continue to do great!!!  All 7 puppies are growing daily.  They are starting to get their feet under them a bit, almost walking, but not quite yet.  We are looking forward to the next few days when their eyes will open!  Here are a few pics from yesterday.

Spirit and Tobias puppies born - Dec. 4th 2012

We are very excited to announce the birth of 7 beautiful puppies (4 boys and 3 girls) whelped by 

Spirit (NFC DC Cali N TNTs Spirit of the Wild of Nitro LCX5 MC FCh) 

and sired by Tobias (DC Hound Hill Tobias FCh)!  This is our 2nd litter at Cali Whippets!

This litter is Co Bred with Cora Miller and Donna Richards.  

Thank you to these successful breeders for your interest in this litter!

We can't wait to see what these red and white puppies will grow into!

Blondie is our first "Blonde" Champion!

Amos earns an ASFA FCH with his new family!

We couldn't be more proud to announce that Amos is now an ASFA Field Champion.  

Amos went lure coursing in Atlanta this past weekend with his forever family.  According to the Picks, he ran well and after his first two runs he was in a tie.  After 2 run-offs he ended up placing 2nd in a large field of open whippets.  I always knew he had a talant for running!

Congrats to Ernest and Mary Pick on their special boy!!

Spirit at 38 days!

 

Miss Spirit - 38 days into her pregnancy!  She is starting to show and is eating like a "hog"!!!

Congrats to Blondie and Mystic!!!

 We attended an AKC Lure Coursing trial in Camden, SC this past weekend and Blondie and Mystic had a blast!  The weather was great and we had a good time hanging out with all our friends.
 At just her second weekend runnning, BLONDIE earned her second Major win (3pts) towards her AKC Lure coursing championship title!  Then to top it off, Mystic won the specials stake AND then went Best of Breed!   So glad these two little girls had such a good time!

A fun time in Atlanta

Recently we traveled to Atlanta, GA to attend our Whippet Southern Specialty Show.   Not only did Dylan and Henry get a chance to show, but we had some wonderful reunions.

We got to see Bailey for the first time in several months! It was really good to see her and Becky.  Oh how much she is like her brother and sisters!  Here is a pic of Bailey with Mama Moe!

 Then, Bailey left to go with a new sister, Ella.  This is a picture of them at home

On top of our reunion with Bailey, I was able to have visit with Amos and his new family for the first time since he found his forever home!  How wonderful to see this special boy again.   He looked so good and was clearly very happy with his new family.  I hear that he will be doing a bit of lure coursing later this fall.
