I couldn't be more proud to introduce our newest additions
to the world!!!
These are our keepers from the Spirit/Raleigh Litter!
(Yes, I know I was only going to keep 1 puppy, but we were so so happy with them, we decided to forgo some future planned breedings and keep 3 puppies!!  We feel strongly that there is a successful future for these puppies!)
Huge thanks to Co-breeders Robin Barry and Donna Richards.

2014 ASFA II at the Horse Park in Ocala Florida

I was so very excited to attend my first ASFA International Invitational this year!
The drive down was nice and I arrived in Florida with plenty of time on Friday afternoon to take the girls for a nice walk to stretch out their legs after the long drive.
Elsa, Blondie and Mystic joined me for this trip.  I am proud of all three girls.  They handled the long drive like champs and did great in the hotel all 4 nights.
Saturday started out as a nice cool morning and all 3 girls had good runs.  But before we could make it to the final runs, the sky opened up and a long and severe thunderstorm developed, stopping the trial for almost 3 hours!!!  Once the storm passed and we emerged from our van, everyone managed to get going again and finished the trial.  Elsa ended the day in 3rd place in her open stake A.  Not bad for a baby red girl :)
Sunday, unlike Saturday, was just beautiful from the moment we woke up til sunset.  This field was a bit flatter and the course was longer, almost 1100 yards.  The girls seemed to like it and all 3 ran well.  Elsa, once again, made me proud!!! This day, she ended up WINNING her Open Stake B for a 1st placement!!!
I am so proud of Elsa for continuing to step up to the challanges that we have put her thru and once again giving a great performance, despite the long trip, new experiences and extra long courses (for her)!!!!
We made it home safe, with 3 healthy girls and many fun memories.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

As always, we are proud of our pups and look forward to her next adventure.   Above pic is old, but will share her win photo when it arrives :)

Amazing weekend!!

WOW!
We had a wonderful and exciting weekend!
First off, Mike and I attended an AKC Lure coursing trial in Williamsburg, VA (SHOT).  The weather was just perfect on Saturday - sunny and warm - and we love camping here as the campground, right on the river, is just beautiful.
Elsa (Cali's Red Clay Halo) was entered in her second AKC trial with a nice entry of 21 open whippets, 11 specials and 2 vets.  After her first 2 runs, Elsa was FIRST of 21, for her second 5pt Major in two trials!!!! But she didn't stop there, as she went on to win BOB for her second BOB! in 2 trials!
We couldn't be more proud and excited about the future of this Young red girl!

However, these young Spirit/Tobias puppies were not done for the weekend.
Righty (Cali's Right on Red for Hound Hill) was off in Louiseville, KY, spending some time in the show ring and went WD/BOW for his second Major win!!!  Righty is owned by Cora Miller and Handled by Phoebe Booth.
We are so happy with this Red Litter!   We look forward to their future as these red kids continue on their adventures!
