New photos and updates

This past weekend was great weather and a lot of fun spending some time with good friends. Tyler's "girls" did great, with one of them earning Winners 4 out of 5 days. At the end of the weekend, Mike was able to get some really great photos of the girls. Check out the individual pages of Spirit, Morgan and Tyler. Thanks to Mike!

Upcoming events: We will be heading to Atlanta for the American Whippet Club's "National competition" in a few weeks. Wish the girls good luck as they are entered in both Lure Coursing and the show ring. I know we will have lots of fun and I am very excited!

New updates and News

I have made a few changes in the past month, adding some pedigrees and photos to some the pages. Please check them out.
The biggest new lately is that Morgan has come into heat for the first time and it has been a real learning experience for me keeping her and Tyler apart. What fun knowing that Spirit will not be far behind her and we will get to do it all over again.
We are planning for a big trip to the Whippet Nationals this coming April held in Atlanta. Besides that we have a few Lure Coursing trials coming up in the next few weeks and a local dog show in Raleigh in March.We will update everyone with results once we have them.

Snow in North Carolina!!!

What a day for the dogs! Snow! We got at least 7-8 inches starting last night into today.

Successful weekend Lure Coursing

Hi all,
We made it home safely and without any problems. Both Morgan and Spirit had a good weekend. Morgan placed 3rd on Saturday and earned 2pts towards her FC and Spirit placed 2nd on Saturday (3pts) and 3rd on Sunday (2pts) for a total of 5 pts for the weekend. Great job to both Morgan and Spirit! It was a tough weekend, with LOTS of competition and many, many specials competing to keep their position in the top 20!
I am very proud of both of these girls. Watch for photos and more info on each of their pages in the next few days.

Lure Coursing Trial this past weekend

Hi,

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Day weekend. We started out enjoying a good meal with friends on Thursday, then left on Friday to go Lure Coursing in Reidsville, NC. Both Morgan and Spirit earned NEW TITLES this weekend and Spirit earned her first points towards her championship (this was her first time entered in competition as she just became old enough to compete). Cali and Tyler also ran and had a good time. Check out each dog's page for details.

Also, Marlow, one of Tyler's daughters and Morgan's sister took first place on Sunday and earned a 5 point major!! Way to go Marlow (pictured below).

Great weekend Lure Coursing

We headed to Rocky Mount, NC for an ASFA Lure Coursing trial this past weekend and had a great time. The weather could not have been more perfect and the trial (run by me) went off without any problems. However, not only did we have beautiful weather and a good trial, our boy "Tyler" finally got his act together and received the first place win we knew he had in him!!! Way to Go Tyler! Morgan also did well and updates are on her page.
