Another fun weekend for Cali Whippets - this weekend was Blondie's turn!   

Blondie - FC Cali's Blonde Ambition SC went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 more points towards her Bench Championship today in Raleigh under Judge Charolette Patterson! 

As always, we are proud of our pups and look forward to her next adventure.   Above pic is old, but will share her win photo when it arrives :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All!!!

Fun Weekend of Lure Coursing!

This past weekend we traveled down to Camden, SC for some AKC Lure Coursing.

On top of a good weekend of coursing we were able to spend some time with friends and enjoy some Christmas celebrations!  

The most exciting news of the weekend is that Blondie was BOB on Saturday!  We are so proud of this little girl.  This big win should keep her in the top 20 rankings for the 2013 year!   She has really dug deep and found her stride lately.   Here are some pics of her this weekend:

Also on Saturday, Max (TNT's Red Son Rising O'Cali) is the first of Spirit's puppies to pass his QC test and we can't wait to see some Spirit pups start running.  No doubt that he is a Spirit pup from these pics :)   Congrats to Donna and Larry Richards who own Max.  

On Sunday we let Morgan join in on some fun and run.  She is looking good at 6.5 yo.

Finally, both Hendrix, Elsa and Dylan all had great practices!!!   Here is a pic of Hendrix - love his low, easy gliding stride!   So very excited about these young kids :)

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY to our BLONDES!!!!!

So hard for me to believe that our Morgan/Chevy pups are already 2 years old.  

We are so very excited to announce that Henry had the most wonderful Birthday present and he has now found his forever home with Caleb and Michael.
He has now moved to Texas and has a very sweet sister named Gracie.
We hope that all works out for them and that they move to NC soon!!

A fun time in Atlanta

Recently we traveled to Atlanta, GA to attend our Whippet Southern Specialty Show.   Not only did Dylan and Henry get a chance to show, but we had some wonderful reunions.

We got to see Bailey for the first time in several months! It was really good to see her and Becky.  Oh how much she is like her brother and sisters!  Here is a pic of Bailey with Mama Moe!

On top of our reunion with Bailey, I was able to have visit with Amos and his new family for the first time since he found his forever home!  How wonderful to see this special boy again.   He looked so good and was clearly very happy with his new family.  I hear that he will be doing a bit of lure coursing later this fall.

Happy First Birthday BLONDES!

Tegan goes "Puppy Group III"

We are excited to announce that "Tegan" - Cali's Legally Blonde won her class, went best whippet puppy and then on to a Puppy Group III placement this past weekend in Ohio!   

The blonde crew is starting to mature nicely and we look forward to the remainder of this year on into the next year as they start to spend some time in the show ring!
